Local SEO · Dallas-Fort Worth
Local SEO in Dallas-Fort Worth for businesses that live on the phone
When someone three miles away searches for what you do and your business isn’t in the map results, that job goes to the shop down the road. I work your Google Business Profile, your city pages and the technical base of your site so the calls come from search instead of luck.
I’m not an agency that advises local businesses. I own and run them — residential and commercial cleaning here in DFW, manufacturing in Mexico, aviation training — using the same playbook I’m selling you. When the SEO doesn’t work, the phone that stops ringing is mine.
Got it.
I’ll go through your site and your Google profile before I reply, so what comes back has actual findings in it, not a welcome template.
If it’s urgent, call me: (214) 317-1867.
The problem
Your competition isn’t better. It’s better configured.
These are the six things I check first on any DFW service business. Usually the problem is one or two of them, not all six.
You show up, but not in the map
You rank for your own business name and nothing else. The three-result map pack — where the call actually gets decided — belongs to three other shops in your area.
One page for ten cities
Your site says “serving the whole metroplex.” Google has nothing specific to show someone searching from Frisco, McKinney or Garland, so it shows whoever does have a page for that city.
The Google profile is sitting there
Wrong primary category, services not listed, service area drawn wrong, reviews unanswered. It’s the local asset that moves fastest and the one that gets touched least.
The site is technically in the way
Redirects that never get served, duplicate pages competing with each other, schema declaring data that doesn’t match reality. None of it is visible from the outside and all of it holds back rankings.
Ads are covering the gap
Google Ads makes up for missing organic for as long as you keep paying. The day you cut the budget, the phone goes quiet. Your cost per customer never comes down because there’s no channel diluting it.
AI assistants don’t know you exist
When someone asks ChatGPT or Gemini who does this work in their city, the assistant names a handful of businesses. If your site isn’t readable to those systems, you’re not one of them and no report will tell you.
How I fix it
Local SEO in Dallas, in the order it actually gets done: base, map, content
There are four fronts and they get worked in this order, not another one. Building content on a broken technical base is throwing away the month.
The technical diagnostic
It goes first because it’s usually where the brake is and it’s invisible from the outside: redirects that never get served, duplicate pages competing with each other, schema declaring data that doesn’t match, analytics recording nothing. If the site is dragging any of that, whatever you build on top underperforms. That’s why the diagnostic is free — without seeing it, neither of us knows what we’re buying.
The local map
Your Google Business Profile: categories, services, service area, photos, posts, Q&A, plus a review request and response system your team can keep running without you. It’s worked against the local ranking factors Google documents: relevance, distance and prominence. It comes before content because on a local search the map block sits above the regular results.
Organic results
A page architecture by service and by city, one search intent per page so they don’t compete with each other, internally linked so authority reaches where it needs to go. It’s the slowest part and the one least exposed to Google changing the rules on the map pack.
The AI answer
Making your business exist for ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity too: real heading structure, consistent data, correct local business structured data, llms.txt, and content readable as plain text rather than locked inside images or CSS. It comes last because it rests on the other three: with inconsistent data there’s nothing to cite.
That’s the order the work happens in, not the order you’ll see results in. They’re two different things and it’s worth being clear about it up front: the first thing that moves is the Google profile, even though it isn’t the first thing touched.
What’s included
What local SEO in Dallas-Fort Worth actually gets you, with no fine print
Audit and kickoff
- Technical site audit: indexing, redirects measured without following them, duplicates, canonicals, speed and Core Web Vitals.
- Google Business Profile audit against the three competitors currently holding the map in your area.
- Keyword research by service and by city, separating research intent from hire-me intent.
- Architecture map: which page answers which search, and which URLs are redundant or get consolidated.
Google Business Profile
- Primary and secondary categories corrected, services and attributes filled in.
- Service area drawn around where you actually work, not where you’d like to.
- Posts and the Q&A section worked, not left blank.
- A review request system plus response templates for the good ones and the bad ones.
- Name, address and phone consistency across the directories Google cross-checks.
Content and pages
- Service and city pages written to convert, not to hit a keyword count.
- Titles and meta descriptions measured in pixels rather than characters, so they don’t get cut off in the result.
- Internal linking with descriptive anchors, always to the canonical URL.
- Forms and calls to action that are measurable on every page.
Technical, data and AI visibility
- Correct local business and service structured data, matched to what you can actually back up.
- 301 redirects verified one by one after they go live.
- Google Analytics 4 and Search Console verified against real data, not assumed.
- AI search readiness: llms.txt, real heading hierarchy, content readable as markdown.
- A monthly report showing what moved, what didn’t, and what’s next.
What changes
What to expect, and the order you’ll notice it
Above is the order the work happens in. This is the order you notice it, and they aren’t the same. I’m not going to hand you a percentage or a date — nobody doing this seriously can commit to those — but the sequence is always the same.
The Google profile moves
It’s the fastest surface: corrected categories, services and service area change which searches the map shows you for. You measure it inside Google’s own panel — discovery searches, calls, direction requests.
The technical work is already done
It was the first thing touched and it’s the last thing to produce a number worth showing: redirects serving again, pages no longer competing with each other, clean indexing. It almost never shows up in sales the first month. It’s what lets everything else add up instead of cancelling out.
Organic starts coming in by city
The service and city pages start picking up high-intent searches. This is the channel that brings your cost per customer down, because it doesn’t stop producing work when you stop paying.
You start existing for AI
It arrives last because it needs the other three fronts in place first. With consistent data and readable content, your business becomes citable when someone asks an assistant who does this work in their city. High-intent traffic that very few local businesses are working yet.
The number we look at together isn’t your ranking position. It’s how many calls and requests came in, from which city, for which service, and how many turned into paid work. If traffic goes up and calls don’t, that’s a problem and I treat it like one.
How we work
Five steps, no surprises
Diagnostic
I go through your site, your Google profile and the three businesses currently beating you in the map. You get what I found and what I’d fix first. No cost. If you decide not to move forward, the diagnostic is still yours.
Proposal with fixed scope
This is where pricing shows up, because now I’ve seen the ground. Scope, order of work and what I need from your side, in writing.
Fix the base
Technical, Google profile and measurement. Whatever is blocking gets corrected and analytics gets verified against real data before a single new page is written.
Build
Service and city pages, internal linking, structured data and AI search readiness. One search intent per page, every time.
Measure and next cycle
A monthly report with the source next to every number. What moved, what didn’t, and what we do next month. No figure I can’t trace back to Search Console, Analytics or your own call log.
Why EcheCom
I run local businesses. The marketing I sell you is the marketing I use.
I learned this by making payroll with it. The businesses I own and operate are:
- Maid in Allen TX — residential cleaning in Allen and north DFW.
- Teresa’s Office Cleaning — commercial and office cleaning.
- Jericho Cleaning Services — cleaning services.
- Rodillo Sueco — a roller manufacturer in Mexico City.
- EduCan MX — lead generation for aviation training.
I also operate digital assets for third parties, including an auto glass shop in Houston. Every SEO decision I’ll recommend to you is one I’ve already made in one of these businesses, with my own money on the line.
13 years doing this
SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, WordPress and analytics. Bilingual: I work the anglo and the Hispanic market in DFW with different messaging, because they don’t search the same way or with the same words.
Technical diagnosis, not just content
Redirects that never get served, badly declared schema, analytics recording nothing. That’s the layer where everyone else’s work gets lost, and it’s where I start.
You work with me, not with a junior
This is a one-person operation. The person auditing your site, writing your pages and walking you through the report is the same person. That caps how many projects I take at once, and I’d rather say so up front.
Nothing gets outsourced offshore
No content farm, no white-label vendor in another time zone writing about a city they’ve never been to. If I don’t know something, I say so instead of filling the gap with volume.
Who this doesn’t work for
I’d rather say this now than bill you for three months to reach the same conclusion:
- If nobody answers the phone or replies to form submissions the same day, SEO will just bring you more missed opportunities.
- If you expect the top spot in 30 days, this isn’t the service. The Google profile moves fast; organic doesn’t.
- If your business has no physical service area and no local customers, local SEO isn’t your channel.
- If you aren’t willing to ask your customers for reviews, you’re missing the signal that carries the most weight in the map, and no amount of technique replaces it.
- If you’re shopping for the cheapest vendor, there are cheaper options than me and I won’t match them.

Questions
What people ask before hiring me
How long does local SEO take to work?
It depends on two things the diagnostic measures: how broken the technical base is, and how strong the competition is in your city. The Google profile is usually the first surface to move, because category, service and service area changes get processed quickly. Organic ranking by city is slower by nature. I don’t give dates, and I’d be careful with anyone who does.
What does it cost?
I won’t price it before seeing your site, your Google profile and your competition, because the actual work varies enormously between a clean site that only needs content and one carrying years of technical debt. The diagnostic is free and the proposal that comes out of it has fixed scope and fixed pricing.
I already have a Google Business Profile. Does this still help?
Yes, and it’s often where the return is highest. What I check on an existing profile is whether the primary category is right, whether services are listed, whether the service area is properly defined and whether reviews are being answered. When any of that is missing, there’s ground to gain without writing a single new page.
Do I need a new website?
Almost never. Most WordPress sites can be fixed and extended. I recommend rebuilding only when the template makes it impossible to measure, load or index properly, and in that case I’ll give you the technical reason rather than a sales argument.
Do you work outside Dallas-Fort Worth?
Yes. The local SEO method works the same in any market and I operate businesses in Houston and in Mexico. What’s specific to DFW is that I know the ground firsthand, because my own businesses compete in it.
Can you run ads while the SEO matures?
Yes, and in a lot of cases that’s the right call: Google Ads covers the call gap while organic gets built, and the search term data from those campaigns tells you which pages to write. What I won’t do is sell you permanent ads to paper over a structural problem with the site.
What is this about showing up in ChatGPT?
More people now ask an assistant who does a job in their city, and the assistant answers with a handful of businesses instead of ten blue links. To be in that answer your site has to be machine-readable: real heading structure, data that matches between your site and your Google profile, correct structured data, and text that isn’t trapped inside images. That’s part of the work here, not an add-on.
Who actually does the work?
I do. EcheCom is a one-person operation, so the number of projects I take at once is limited. The upside is that the person auditing, writing and reporting is the same person who answers your call.
Do you work in Spanish too?
Both languages, with separate keyword research for each. A Spanish page here is not a translation of the English one, because a shop owner in Garland and a firm in Plano don’t search with the same words.
